adam & christine’s wedding // sayulita, mexico

There are some things about weddings in Mexico that I will never tire of… the inevitable day of the dead theme, the mariachi bands, the idea that you can wear shorts & go barefoot, and the fact that people are there to celebrate. I mean really celebrate. Loved ones come from all over the world to be together on one amazing day, at a cliffside ceremony or on the beach… they celebrate love under the sun, to the sound of waves, and always well into the night and for days & days.

This is how it was with Christine & Adam’s wedding; my last wedding of the four that I shot with Jillian Mitchell, but the first that I am going to share with you, simply because it is exactly how I want to remember my days & nights in Mexico….

Celebrating Love.

This wedding was featured on Junebug Weddings (squeeeeeeee!)… and I would love to give a shout out to the husband/wife duo at Sayulita Dream Weddings. I’ve worked with a lot of wedding coordinators, but I felt like they brought their profession to a whole other level. And seriously… Americans living in Mexico, and working their dream jobs? Shut the front door. I am so jealous. And please… I beg of you! Check out Jill’s perspective from this wedding! She is seriously so inspiring, and I fall in love with her every time I visit her blog. So you can just imagine… it was a total love fest for the two weeks that I stayed with her.

Christine & Adam, you two are just adorable. I had the best time with you, and wish I could’ve made that night last forever.

love, love, love… te amo, méxico.
