baby clover’s first family photos // olympia, washington

These are Baby Clover’s first family photos… some in the comfort of her mama’s belly, and some in the comfort of her mama’s arms.

Clover is lucky because she has two loving moms… I couldn’t think of a happier way to grow up! And I am lucky because these are my neighbors and friends, who have been my rock during my lonely days of living in a new city and having to navigate my way through losing the life and dreams and friends that I used to know. Even if we don’t see each other day (we hardly do, sadly), just knowing that they are just a walk away makes life so much easier down here.

Even if just for a short time, I am so thankful for you, you wonderful and amazing family! Love you!

I don’t know how to begin to express how grateful I feel that we have met and become friends. I remember the very first day you came over, we had just moved to Olympia and didn’t know anyone. You have been such a wonderful support and amazing friend to me, Kim and now Clover! Leaving Olympia will be so hard, because we will be further from you and your sweet family. Thank you for capturing this very special/very short time in our lives. I love you so much!
